There is *no possible physical place* that my chequebook can be.
So do I cancel it now, or have another look this afternoon?
The only possibly thing I can think of is that's it's been thrown away by mistake.
I desperately want to find it; apart from the cheques I need to write today, I need it for Orkney, and I don't think a new one will arrive in time.
Chiz, curses.

Plus they may charge you - I can't recall whether they do or not - I have a feeling mine (Lloyds TSB) doesn't charge to prepare bankers drafts, but I've only ever done so once so I may not be the most reliable person in that regard.
Probably just easier to cancel it unless you need the cheques pronto.
