Ooh - don't worry about me! I'm only sat at home, reporting what I'm hearing on the radio. No doubt it will have been someone sandwiches, or forgotten shopping. I left my French horn on the bus several times when I was at school.
The saddest things I've heard is the bride and groom walking up Broad Street, the bride was in floods of tears. The groom told passers by that they hadn't managed to have their first dance; they were serenaded in the street by actors evacuated from a musical so they could have it.
Interesting coincidence - mr_pete just mentioned the 105 bus, which runs from Sutton Coldfield to Birmingham City, and I spotted this while trawling the BBC website.
Something about this just doesn't feel right to me...
