There won't be any further update or photos of Cologne because for some reason my camera has just seen fit to delte them all, instead of the empty folders I tried to delete. To say I am a little disappointed is somewhat of an understatement. I certainly can't be bothered writing anything more about the trip.

Does it have a removable data card in it? Because if they're anything like floppy disks, you may be able to retrieve at least some of the data from there.

Agree with John. Don't panic yet - don't take any more photos and have a look into Image Rescue software. What format is the card?

It's an Ikux 500 the same as your, so the memory card will be the same type.

Tried it, but doesn't seem to recognise my camera unfortunately. It only gives me the options of looking at the CD and floppy drives. Chiz, curses.
