Halfway down the week...

Crikey - what a day. Get into work at 8.10 to find R the Weasel Boy wanting me to give him some feedback on the coursework he should have handed in on Friday. Am told by head of department that someone who may be able to take over the Level 2 classes that currently have no teacher is coming in at 2, so can I be ready to meet him and have any details he will need.

Teach.

Spend break printing off Long Term Plans, Medium Term Plans and other sundry items that Captain Supply will need for the two courses he'll be teaching. Network goes down while I'm doing this for 10 minutes, which at least enables me to make a coffee whilst swearing at the PC.

Teach.

Teach one of the groups that currently have no teacher, which I as Course Coordinator am responsible for, interspersed with my appraisal feedback meeting. (I got a Grade 2, which I'm perfectly happy with.)

Spend lunchtime haring off to Morrisons to buy some cakes and fizzy pop for my Creative Writing group who are having their last session this afternoon. Get back into work and run over to other building to meet Captain Supply and explain the courses to him.

Teach.

Write some resources needed for the GCSE pre-release material so that I can put them up to Repro tomorrow morning.

17.00 - go home.

I now need to decide whether to get all that marking I need to get done tonight, or whether I spend the night 'skiving'. I've got nothing else to do whilst lupercal is on evening shifts other than sit round and wait for him to get home, but I'm so tired I'm getting to the stage where I'm happy to accept death as a substitute for sleep.

But I did manage to buy the smallest ickle litter tray in the world! on my home from work tonight, and a couple of cool toys. Hurrah!
