Nov. 27th, 2004 01:33 pmI've just been told that it's illegal *not* to have a spare tyre if you're driving on the motorway. It doesn't seem right to me, as I know of cars - like the Smart - that don't actually come with a spare tyre.
I haven't been able to find any reference to it myself, but I know many of you out there know more about cars than me. So -

Still, I seem to recall that there are differences between the MoT requirements and the law as applied to road vehicles.
