Bah, humbug.

I thought that it was only photographic film that contained gelatine, but so does photographic paper. And I had thought Jessops online service was such a *good* idea. No prints for me then!

Didn't know that either. Never had any prints from digital, thankfully.

I guess there's a big difference between vegetarians and vegans on this one. I might try to find out if there are any suitable papers, as I was hoping to print out some nice landscape shots.

Oh, I hadn't thought about that. Maybe it's a good thing no one comes to visit me then ...

Are you using digital or conventional?
If it's digital, why dont you get super shiny Kodac paper (not photographic paper) to print onto?
You get a nice effect, which is close to printed photos - it's what I use for my portfolio (non photographic images)

Digital cameras are, but as I said above, printing on photgraphic paper isn't.

What do you do about films and video's do they have any associated animal products?

Films as in video films or camerea films? camera films I don't use. You know, I'm not sure about video tape, but I tend to buy DVDs anyway.

I meant as in video and cinematographic films. I always assumed that since photographic films contained animal products then so would cinema - either in the making or showing reels. Then again I may be totally off the mark.
