Culling simply doesn't work, not to mention they will be indiscriminate and kill healthy birds, gah stoopid people.
In defence of fishermen however; if it wasn't for managed licensed angling our rivers would be more filth laden than they are already, fishing licenses cover some clean up costs (allegedly) not to mention those guys with small dicks (hehe ok most of the anglers I know are bikers who get their cocks out regularly and seem generally to be averagely endowed...one actually has two dicks but the second is quite small...erm I digress now)anywho; they are thoughtful and conservation minded /anecdotal and care a great deal about riverside wildlife plus the waterways they fish. Totally agree the problem is why are they moving inland? as for trawler men I'd be happy to never stick a piece of fish in my gob again if every trawlerman went out of business tomorrow, they are the real bastids, scraping the sea of *everything* leaving utter destruction in their wake.
