I believe morning has just ticked over into afternoon, and I have just got up. Well, in truth this is the second time I've got up today. The first time the postman woke me up at 7.45 this morning. so I pottered around for an hour and a half. Then [livejournal.com profile] lupercal got back from work, so I decided to take a nap about 9.30. Sleep is high on the agenda for this week.

Unfortunately, I feel I have to be Shhhhhhhhhhhhhh! vewwy vewwy qwiyut until [livejournal.com profile] lupercal gets up, so am trying to work out what to do today. I have a list, but can't decide what to start on.

Unfortunately, half term also marks the start of dieting and putting in a lot more effort at the gym to try and lose the 2 stone (yup, 2 stone - count 'em honey) that I've put on in the last year. This particularly sucks as I've decided to kick it off with a full-on 2 day detox. Cabbage soup and this *delicious* stuff out of a bottle. This, I can cope with, gentle reader, but what isn't going so well is the whole no caffeine malarkey. It is now approaching 24 hours since I have had a coffee. And - it *hurts*. I *really* *really* want a coffee...

In other news, the weekend was good. DVDs, gardening, DJing, NMA, and beer in various locations all amounted to a busy one. Anyway, I think I might go and sniff the Gold Blend for a few minutes and think about heading to the gym...

I don't actually drink Gold Blend - I just liked how it sounded

I'm starting to prefer to stay off the coffee when I'm off work, it keeps me relaxed.

Wow, I admire anyone who can kick any habit for more than five hours, good luck with Detox and diet. I have put on a tonne of weight in the last year,no idea how much just 'much', however I am just buying fat pants and moo moos :)
