Another star in ratty heaven

Two minutes ago, Cherwell the Rat took his last breath and set out to join his brothers.

This is, all in all, a good thing - as he had been looking increasingly doddery in the past couple of weeks. He was about 2 years 10 months I think, which is a good age for a rat. He dined on some particularly good leftovers this week - porridge was one of his favourites, and all rats love nachos. He went down fast and the end was quiet. He looks very peaceful.

You might, tonight, be able to see a little constellation in the sky - two very small stars together. Watch out for a new star joining them. That will be Cherwell.
