Early release for good behaviour...

My students all have English resit exams this afternoon, which start at 2, so I let them go at 1 rather than 1.30 so the wee things would actually have a chance to get something to eat first. Even had to give one of them dinner money - "You can't go into an exam on an empty stomach!". Bless 'em.

Saw something fantastic on the way home last night - a Birmingham Evening Mail stand, displaying a poster on which was emblazoned: LOCAL NEWS FOR LOCAL PEOPLE. Heh. Excellent.
